Manal Mohy El Din’s Harp Performance
with Doha El Guerzawi accompaniment on percussion
Manal Mohy El Din is one of the top 10 harpists all over the world. She’s the first Egyptian player who played this instrument and she performed in El Sawy culture wheel and in Cairo Opera house and in Qubit el Ghory. Her concerts were a big success.
Doha El Guerzawi is an engineer and percussion artist/teacher, born in Alexandria 1965. The super talented percussionist has accompanied Bibliotheca Alexandrina Orchestra and Alexandria Opera Chamber Orchestra in numerous concerts.

13:00-14:00 1st Debate:  On Psychotherapy Practice
Egypt’s Mental Health Legislation of 2020 states: “A psychotherapist may only practice under the supervision of a psychiatrist”. The debate will discuss the validity of this concept in view of global practices.

2nd Debate: On Substance Use Management
Addiction medicine is essentially a psychiatry sub specialization in Egypt. Should the psychiatrist be the one to manage addiction only or other specialties like public health and psychologists and social workers, life coaches, ex-addicts could do?
