Dr. Geva is Chairman of the Department of Cardiology at Boston Children's Hospital and the Alexander S. Nadas Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. His major clinical and research interests are multimodality imaging of congenital heart disease. He established and developed the cardiac MRI program at Boston Children's Hospital and subsequently led the Cardiac Imaging Division before assuming his current role. His research has focused on the use of multimodality imaging to define quantitative functional and morphometric predictors of course and outcome in either native or postoperative congenital cardiac lesions. He has published extensively on these topics and is the co-editor of a textbook on echocardiography in congenital heart disease, now in its 3rd edition.

Mary T. Donofrio, MD, is a Professor of Pediatrics at George Washington University School of Medicine and is a Pediatric and Fetal Cardiologist at Children's National Hospital in Washington DC. She is the VanMetre Companies Endowed Chair of Fetal Cardiology and is Medical Director of Prenatal Cardiology, Director of the Critical Care Delivery Program and Advanced Cardiac Imaging Fellowship, and Co-director of the Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Outcome Program. She is the Founding President of the Fetal Heart Society, a non-profit international organization created to advance the field of fetal cardiovascular care and science through collaborative research, education and mentorship. Dr. Donofrio is an international expert in fetal cardiology and is known for her work in establishing multidisciplinary protocols for specialized delivery room management of babies diagnosed in utero with complex congenital heart disease. She has collaborated with scientists in the field to study how alterations in the fetal circulation affect in utero brain development as well as to investigate potential treatment strategies to improve neurodevelopmental outcome in babies with congenital heart disease. She has published over 150 papers, including the American Heart Association Scientific Statement on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Fetal Cardiac Disease, the American Society of Echocardiography Guidelines and Recommendations for Performance of the Fetal Echocardiogram, and the Call to Action Report on Prioritizing Delivery Room Care for Neonates with Critical Congenital Heart Disease.

Dr. Anita Moon-Grady, director of the Fetal Cardiovascular Program at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, uses her training in pediatric cardiology and neonatal/perinatal medicine to raise awareness and increase detection of fetal heart problems. Working in concert with the UCSF Fetal Treatment Center she coordinates care for pregnancies affected by fetal heart disease or dysfunction, whether intervention is necessary before, during or immediately after birth. Her research focuses on non-invasive imaging modalities for investigation of normal and abnormal cardiac function in patients with congenital heart disease and fetuses with congenital heart disease and cardiac compromise, as well as fetuses with cardiac dysfunction due to non-cardiac causes.

Dr. Moon-Grady earned a medical degree from Stanford University, where she also earned a Dean’s Award for research in human genetics. At the UC Davis she completed a residency in pediatrics and a fellowship in neonatal/perinatal medicine. Her fellowship in pediatric cardiology was completed at UCSF. She is a member of the American Society of Echocardiography and the American Medical Association. She has been elected fellow of the American College of Cardiology, fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography and served on the Board for the Pediatric Council of the American Society of Echocardiography. She is also a founding member of the steering committee for the International Fetal Cardiac Intervention Registry and the UCSF steering committee representative to the North American Fetal Therapy Network (NAFTNet).She is the Vice-President and a Board member of the non-profit Fetal Heart Society and Chair of the Ultrasound Practice Accreditation Committee for the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.

Dr. Maully Shah is the medical director of cardiac electrophysiology at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) , director of the electrophysiology fellowship program, Professor of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She is the director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion of the Cardiac Center at CHOP. She completed her medical school training from the University of Gujarat in India and her pediatric residency at the University of Connecticut Combined residency Program in Farmington , CT. She completed her Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship as well as her Pediatric Electrophysiology Fellowship at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She is past President of the Pediatric and Congenital Electrophysiology Society (PACES) from 2019-2020 and served on its executive committee from 2016-2021. She also served as PACES vice president of Research from 2016-2017. Dr. Shah’s clinical interests include diagnosis and management of patients with arrhythmias, sports cardiology, prevention of sudden cardiac death and interventional electrophysiology procedures. Her research interests are complex catheter ablations, electroanatomic mapping and imaging of congenital heart disease for electrophysiology procedures, and novel cardiac implantable electronic device implantation.

Dr. Kourtidou is a US board certified pediatric cardiologist, who specializes in non-invasive cardiac imaging in children and in young adults. Following her graduation from Athens Medical School, Greece, she pursued a Master of Science degree in Preventive Cardiology at Imperial College in London UK. She then completed her pediatric residency at St.Barnabas Hospital of the Albert Einstein University in New York and her pediatric cardiology training at Seattle Children's Hospital, WA. While in Seattle, she developed a special interest in Patient Safety and Quality Improvement initiatives and obtained the respective degree from the University of Washington. She completed her fellowship in Advanced Non-Invasive Cardiac Imaging, including fetal cardiology and cardiac MR at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. 
Dr. Kourtidou has served as an Assistant Professor in Clinical Pediatrics and pediatric CMR Director at Weill Cornell Hospital in New York City, NY, USA before moving back to her homeland in Greece. She is currently the lead in the Fetal Cardiology and Pediatric CMR in the Department of Pediatric Cardiology and Adult Congenital Heart Disease at Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center.

Juan Pablo Kaski is Professor of Paediatric Inherited Cardiovascular Medicine at the UCL Institute of Cardiovascular Science, where he leads the UCL Centre for Paediatric Inherited and Rare Cardiovascular Diseases, and Consultant Paediatric Cardiologist at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), London, UK. He is the Director of the GOSH Centre for Inherited Cardiovascular Diseases. His clinical and research interests are focused on the clinical and genetic characterisation of inherited cardiovascular disease and sudden cardiac death in childhood. He is immediate past-Chair of the Association for European Paediatric Cardiology (AEPC) Working Group on Genetics, Basic Science and Myocardial Disease and sits on the Executive Board of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Cardiomyopathy and Myocarditis Registry Programme and the ESC Council on Cardiovascular Genomics. He leads an international paediatric HCM consortium of over 45 centres, which was responsible for the development of the first sudden death risk prediction model for childhood HCM. He is Chair of the Task Force for the 2023 European Society of Cardiology Cardiomyopathy Guidelines.

Dr. I.Iliopoulos MD, FRCPCH, FRCPC, FAAP is the Medical Director of Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care at INOVA Children’s Hospital, Falls Church, Virginia, USA. He is a graduate of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Medical School, and he underwent postgraduate training in pediatrics, neonatology, pediatric critical and cardiac critical care in the United Kindgom. Dr. Iliopoulos pursued advanced training in pediatric cardiac critical care at the Brompton Hospital, London, UK and Miami Children’s Hospital, Miami, USA and served as an Attending Cardiac Intensivist at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center for over a decade before joining INOVA Children’s. His research is focused on hemodynamic monitoring and inotropic management in critically ill pediatric cardiac patients, including non-invasive ways to assess cardiac output and end organ perfusion such as near infrared spectroscopy and the effect of traditionally used vasoactive therapies such as vasopressin and epinephrine in oxygen consumption and cardiac output after congenital heart surgery. He also participates in a multicenter research consortium that involves more than 20 US cardiac centers (Collaborative Research of Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Society- CoRe PCICS) that aims to provide granular reviews of surgical practice, postoperative management, and outcomes in rare congenital cardiac lesions.

Dr. Sanders attended Georgetown University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree. He received his MD degree from the University of Louisville Health Sciences Center. He completed Pediatric residency at the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center and Pediatric Cardiology fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital. He was Director of the Cardiac Noninvasive Laboratory at Boston Children’s Hospital from 1983 until 1994, Chief of the Division of Pediatric Cardiology at Duke University for seven years and Chair of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery at Bambino Gesù Hospital in Rome, Italy for 5 years. In 2010 he became director of the Cardiac Registry at Boston Children’s Hospital, a collection of 4000 catalogued heart specimens. His primary interests include the embryology and morphology of congenital heart defects and anatomy-imaging correlation. He has extensive experience with the pathology of childhood heart disease, analysis of materials used in cardiac surgery, and creation of 3D models from CT and MRI images of heart specimens.

Dr. Tsirka is a native of Greece. After graduating from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens Medical School, she pursued pediatric residency, at SUNY Stony Brook, followed by subspecialty training in Neonatology at the University of Pittsburgh and Pediatric Cardiology at Washington Universtiy Hospital in St Louis. She then pursued a Master’s in Clinical Research at the University of Minnesota, and a certificate in Artificial Intelligence in Health Care from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
She is currently the Director of Pediatric Cardiomyopathy and Heart Failure Services at St Christopher’s Hospital for Children, where she practices Pediatric and Fetal Cardiology.  She is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Drexel University Medical School and the Katz Lewis School of Medicine at Temple University.
She is the director of Education in Pediatric Cardiology for Drexel and Temple University.

Dr Anitha Parthiban is Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas and Medical Director of Echocardiography at Texas Children's Hospital. Her clinical and research focus is in pediatric cardiac imaging, specifically transthoracic and trans-esophageal echocardiography and fetal cardiology. She has expertise in and is passionate about 3D echocardiography In addition, she has received training in Quality Improvement and LEAN methodology and published work in this area as well.

Dr. Aikaterini Giannakopoulou, MD, MSc, PhD, is a Cardiologist and Pediatric Cardiologist. She is the President of the Hellenic Association of Pediatric Cardiology. Dr. Giannakopoulou serves as one of the directors of the Cardiology Clinic and the Hemodynamic Laboratory at the General Children's Hospital "Aghia Sofia," National Health System, in Athens, Greece. She obtained her Medical Degree, Master’s Degree, and PhD from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She holds a specialist title in hypertension from the European Society of Hypertension. Additionally, she has been trained in advanced techniques in pediatric cardiology at the CHARITE University Hospital in Berlin. Dr. Giannakopoulou has many years of specialized experience in pediatric cardiology.

Dr. Ralphe has been Division Chief of Pediatric Cardiology, and co-director of the Congenital Heart Program at the University of Wisconsin since 2011. Together with Dr. Petros Anagnostopoulos, Dr. Ralphe has overseen the development and growth of comprehensive congenital cardiac services in Madison. He has demonstrated skills in strategic planning, clinical operations, and supporting high-functioning multi-disciplinary teams. The program provides the highest levels of non-invasive and invasive diagnostic and treatment services from fetal cardiology thru adult congenital care with consistent growth and outstanding clinical outcomes. Additionally Dr. Ralphe directs a cardiovascular physiology research program employing a human cell-based engineered cardiac tissue platform to study hypertrophic cardiomyopathy with support from industry partners and the National Institutes of Health.

Dr. Andrew Powell is a Senior Associate in Cardiology at Boston Children’s Hospital, and Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. He graduated from Harvard Medical School followed by a residency in pediatrics and fellowship in pediatric cardiology, both at Boston Children’s Hospital. Afterward, he joined the staff there in the Department of Cardiology, where he is currently the Chief of the Cardiac Imaging Division. In 2019 he served as the President of the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR). Dr. Powell specializes in cardiac magnetic resonance imaging and echocardiography. His research has focused on the development of quantitative MRI methods to guide therapy and predict outcomes of congenital and pediatric heart disease.

Dr Boutsikou is a Consultant Cardiologist specialized in Congenital Heart Disease (CHD)and Cardiac Magnetic Resonance (CMR). She is the Director of Cardiac MRI and CT Unit at Mediterraneo Hospital in Athens Greece. She was subspecialized in CHD and CHD Echocardiography and subsequently in CMR at the Royal Brompton Hospital, London UK. She holds level 3 certifications in CMR and in Congenital and pediatric CMR from the European Society of Cardiology (EACVI) as well as from the Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR). She holds a PhD Degree in Cardiology and two Master Degrees, one in Biostatistics and one in Intensive Care Units-Cardiology Nursing. Since 2022 she has participated in the EACVI Leaders of Tomorrow programme of the European Society of Cardiology. Her research work includes 102 publications, 6 book chapters on Imaging in CHD and more than 150 presentations in National and International Congresses. She has received 15 awards in International Congresses and 2 training Grants for training in CHD and CMR. She is a member of the EACVI Membership and Partner Societies Committee as well as of other 14 National and International Scientific Societies.

• In my role as organizer of the Anatomy Physiology SubModule of the 7MIGEP21 Module , I am responsible in the selection of the internal and external lecturers to assist in the delivery of the course material. RESEARCH ACTIVITY
I have been appointed as a Lecturer and then as Assistant Professor in Paediatrics/ Paediatric Cardiology in Athens University. During the last 4 years I have initiated and established research programme on long term cardiovascular implications of COVID-19 infection in children and established regular preventative paediatric cardiology clinics.

I have been appointed as Senior Lecturer at Kings’ College London since 1st of September 2015 having completed my work as a Clinical Lecturer at University College London. During this period, I have initiated and established an extensive research programme “Advanced Cardiovascular assessment in pregnancy” for which I am the Chief Investigator at Kings’ College London. The purpose of this initiative was to investigate the impact of maternal risk factors on maternal and fetal cardiovascular system.
In addition, I am leading extensive research work in congenital heart disease. I have established strong collaborations within the Fetal Maternal Medicine Unit at Kings and St Thomas’ whilst maintaining strong links and colloborations with UCL and Bristol University.

My research work has been supported by the Fetal Medicine Foundation and key industrial partners includings Canon Medical and Philips. Canon Medical Company has sponsored my research work under the framework of a Product Evaluation Agreement between Canon Medical Systems Europe BV and King’s College London and provided 3 Canon Aplio i900 Ultra-Preium Ultrasound Systems including high performance transducers and advanced software representing a commercial value of approximately 3* GBP 200.000
3x Canon/ Vital Images Vitrea UL Base Workstations with various softwares modules representing a commercial value of approximately 3xGBP 25000.
In the last year Philips Company has provided 2 ultrasound systems and high performance transducers to establish cardiovascular research in IVF pregnancies.

Whilst providing excellence in the quality of teaching and academic and clinical work, I have already built an innovative programme of research work having performed detailed cardiovascular imaging in more than 20000 pregnant women and fetuses. My cardiovascular work has made significant contributions in understanding the role of maternal cardiovascular system and the development of pregnancy complications as well as demonstrated associations about fetal cardiac functional and structural alterations and maternal risk factors. I have an ambitious plan to continue with postpartum phenotyping and set up preventative clinics in collaboration with expert in the field. In this clinics my aspiration would be to monitor cardiovascular changes in women who have experienced pregnancy as well as set up preventative offspring clinics with the aim to reduce modifiable risk factors including obesity and blood pressure.

Earning her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine (1989), internal medicine/ pediatric internship from University of Michigan (1989-90), and pediatric residency from University of Michigan (1990 - 1992), Dr Samyn received her fellowship training in pediatric cardiology at University of Iowa (1994 - 1997) after being a community pediatrician in Ann Arbor. Upon completion of her cardiology fellowship, Dr. Samyn acquired translational/clinical research training during her years (1997 - 2003) in the pharmaceutical industry, where she served as a Director of Cardiovascular Research at Parke-Davis/ Warner Lambert (Ann Arbor, Michigan) and subsequently Pfizer Global Research and Development (Ann Arbor, Michigan). She contributed to the Lipitor clinical trials, to a novel gene therapy trial (AdVEGF) for neovascularization, and as a reviewer of candidate drugs in the Section of Experimental Medicine. Her background in clinical medicine and cardiovascular research is unique and is complimented by her recent acquisition of MBA from the University of Notre Dame (2021, Magna Cum Laude). As a Professor of Pediatrics (Cardiology), Dr Samyn sees patients within the Herma Heart Institute at Children's Wisconsin and is the new Assistant Dean of Scholarly Activities for the Medical College of Wisconsin (Milwaukee, Wisconsin).

Working with the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR), Dr Samyn served as the founding co-chair of the Pediatric/ Congenital Heart Disease Research Committee (2010), chairing this committee for ten years. She co-authored two seminal guideline papers (Fratz et al. Cardiovasc Magn Reason. 2013 Jun 13; 15 (1):51 and Dorfman et al. J Cardiovasc Magn Reson 2022 Jul 21; 24 (1): 44a) and has worked on many collaboratives, multi-center CMR studies. Dr Samyn is the principal investigator (along with Drs Jonathan Soslow and Bruce Damon) for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) funded research (5R01HL164995-03, "Predictive modeling of acute rejection in pediatric heart transplant recipients"). This multi-center study investigates CMR versus endomyocardial biopsy to detect acute rejection for heart transplant recipients.

Dr Petros V Anagnostopoulos, MD, MBA is the Chief of Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery at the American Family Children’s Hospital and Professor of Surgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, Wisconsin. His training as a Congenital Heart Surgery includes a Cardiothoracic Residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and a clinical Congenital Heart fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. After working as an attending surgeon at Phoenix Children’s Hospital in Phoenix Arizona and an Assistant Professor at UCSF, Dr Anagnostopoulos joined the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics with the goal to build a thriving academic pediatric cardiothoracic surgery program in 2011. Since 2011 the Program in Madison has enjoyed significant growth, is performing over 260 total cases a year and has become a tertiary and quaternary referral center in the upper Midwest. The program has been ranked as a top 50 programs in the nation by US News and World Report for the last 6 consecutive years and since 2023 has expanded to include a Pediatric Heart Transplant and Ventricular Assist Device Program.

Dr Anagnostopoulos is a member of the Congenital Heart Surgeon’s Society (member of both the Research Committee and of the Quality and Outcomes Committee), the American Association for Thoracic Surgery (member of the Congenital Clinical Practice Standards Committee) and of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons and of the American Academy of Pediatrics (member of the Section on Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery). He has co-authored 82 peer-reviewed journals and 3 book chapters. He has given numerous local, regional, national and international oral presentations. He is on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery and of the World Journal for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery. He is an Ad-Hoc Reviewer for several scientific journals.

Dr Srinivasan is Associate Professor in Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Her training in pediatric cardiology includes fellowship at New York University Medical Center in NY, and a year of advanced imaging fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital. Following this she spent a couple of years as a consultant in Pediatric Cardiology at Madras Medical Mission. She joined the faculty at the University of Wisconsin Madison in 2001. Her interests are driven by her passion for advanced imaging, fetal cardiology and teaching.
She is the director of fetal cardiology program and fetal outreach services at the American Family Children’s Hospital (AFCH) in Madison since 2002. In addition, she is the director of fetal cardiology services for the UW Health fetal surgery center, the physician lead for 3-Dimensional echocardiography and the physician lead for the Multi-Disciplinary Fontan Follow up clinic at AFCH. Past appointments include Co-Director of the pediatric echocardiography laboratory at AFCH and physician lead for the multi-disciplinary muscular dystrophy clinic. She has authored/coauthored 3 book chapters and several peer reviewed articles. Her research and teaching interests include multi-modality evaluation of congenital heart disease including 3D echo, fetal arrhythmias and development of community outreach programs in fetal cardiology and use of simulation in teaching.

Anne Marie Valente, MD is a Professor of Pediatrics, Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She received a B.S. from Boston College and M.D. from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. She completed residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology and Adult Cardiovascular Disease at Duke University. She is the Chief of the Boston Adult Congenital Heart (BACH) Disease and Pulmonary Hypertension Program at Boston Children's Hospital and Co-Director of the Pregnancy and Cardiovascular Disease Program at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Her expertise is in cardiovascular imaging with a focus in cardiac magnetic resonance imaging. Dr. Valente’s research interests include identifying risk factors for adverse outcomes in adults with congenital heart disease and developing strategies to improve outcomes in women with heart disease during pregnancy. She is the primary investigator for the INDICATOR registry, which is an international multicenter registry to determine predictors of adverse clinical outcomes in patients with repaired tetralogy of Fallot.
