Registration is now closed.

Thank you for your interest in ESPN educational activities. Due to limited participation, in case of cancellation, participants who expressed interest will be placed on a waiting list and served on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Course registration package includes the following services:

 
Hotel accommodation in a double room, shared with another participant, for a total of 5 nights (check-in on May 20th  and check-out on May 25th, 2024).
  • Admittance to all scientific sessions
  • Admittance to the exhibition area
  • Course documentation and material
  • Certificate of Attendance
  • Coffee and lunches as specified in the Course program
  • Welcome Cocktail
  • Transfer by shuttle bus from Sibiu International airport to the Course venue on May 20th and from the venue to Sibiu International airport on May 25th , 2024.
Important note: As the venue is almost fully booked for the Course, we kindly ask you to address any accommodation request directly to the Organizing Secretariat.

Currency

 
All Course fees are calculated in Euro (€). Participants from countries where currency restrictions prevent them from sending registration fees in advance are asked to inform the Organizing Secretariat, in order to avoid being charged late registration fees.

Terms of payment for registration fees

 
All payments should be made in Euros without charges for the beneficiary.
Please note that late registration fees will apply for any payments received after the stated deadlines.
Confirmations of registrations and invoices for the relevant charges will only be sent after receipt of the appropriate fees. Outstanding payments are to be paid on-site.

Method of payment

 
All payments are to be made in Euro (EUR). Bank charges are to be settled by the payee.

Credit card: Online payments by credit card will be processed through the Course’s online services system. Upon completion of payment, the online system will redirect you to a confirmation of services and the respective payments page. Once you have completed this process, you will receive a confirmation email with information about the services booked and your payment status.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Registration to the ESPN 2024 Course will be confirmed on a first come and pay - first registered basis. Participation is limited to 90 delegates. 

Confirmation of participation

 
As soon as the appropriate fees have been received, participants will receive a confirmation letter of the relevant bookings.

Cancellation Policy

 
Cancellation of participation is to be made in written to the Course Organizing Secretariat. The following cancellation policy will apply:
For cancellation requests received until January 31st, 2024: 50% of the total amount will be refunded.
For cancellation requests received from February 1st, 2024 onwards: no refund applies.
All refunds will be made within two months after the end of the Course. Bank charges will be deducted. An additional handling fee of 20 EUR per refund will apply.

Certificate of Attendance

 
All registered delegates that have attended at least 90% of the Scientific Program will receive a Certificate of Attendance. Attendance will be confirmed using barcode scanners; delegates are requested to scan their identification badges including a personal ID barcode upon entering each session.
Delegates that will be completing the 3-year Cycle will also be receiving an additional Certificate of successful completion of the ESPN Course Cycle.

CME accreditation and badge identification

 
Registration badges will be used during the Course. Participants will receive their badges upon check-in on arrivals day. For identification purposes and admission to session halls, participants are requested to always wear their badges. Admission to Course areas will not be allowed without badge identification.
CME accreditation will be awarded based on attendance monitored through scanners.

Letter of Invitation

 
Delegates that require an official Invitation Letter to attend the Course may address to the Course Secretariat specifying the necessary details. This service is provided only to assist participants who need to obtain a visa or permission to attend the Course. It should not be considered as an official invitation covering fees or any other expenses.
Please note that registration to the Course is a prerequisite for delegates to receive an official letter of invitation from the Course Secretariat.

FAIR PROCESSING NOTICE
Please note that pictures and video recordings will be taken by course staff throughout the ESPN 2024 Course. By registering for the course you agree to your image and personal information being passed to the ESPN Administrative Secretariat & Course Organizing Bureau and published on their website (www.espncourse.org and www.espneurosurgery.org) and being used in materials published by the European Society for Pediatric Neurosurgery, either online or in hard copy, for publicity and promotional purposes.
