It is a great honor and pleasure to invite you to the 2024 Consensus Conference and 6th Refresher Course of the European Society for Pediatric Neurosurgery (ESPN), which will be held in Lyon, 25-27 January 2024.
Targeted Therapies in Pediatric CNS Tumors is the topic selected for the Conference.
The program has been structured with the aim of answering three among the main debated questions on this topic.
The aim of the meeting is to explore the status of current, and future, targeted therapies in pediatric CNS tumours. Abstracts are invited that address these issues in particular, which tumours, at what stage in treatment and what are the long term benefits and complications?
The Consensus Conference will be followed by the Refresher Course, which will be dedicated to Intra-operative tools for a safe removal of pediatric CNS tumor. Undoubtedly over the recent years, a large amount of new surgical tools has been introduced to help the neurosurgeon removing CNS lesions safely. An updated perspective on the everyday surgical practice will be the core of the Course, which, as per tradition of ESPN educational activities, will have a distinguished practical part dedicated to hands-on sessions focusing on mastering the technical aspects of the new surgical adjuvants and their utilization during surgery.
We look forward to welcoming you in Lyon.
