Prof. Dr. Georgeta Vaidean, MPH, PhD



 
Dr. Georgeta Vaidean received her M.D. degree from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and followed with a M.P.H. degree in Health Promotion and Health Education from the University of South Carolina and a Ph.D. in Epidemiology, with a concentration in Cardiovascular Epidemiology, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Currently full professor, Dr. Vaidean has a rich experience in Academia, teaching epidemiology, research methods and evidence-based medicine to medical, pharmacy, Master’s and PhD degree students. Dr. Vaidean is currently involved in cardiovascular epidemiology research as well as clinical research projects using Lifestyle interventions in Preventive Cardiology in New York Cit
