Women’s Health through Lifespan

Prof. Dr. Michelle Tollefson, MD Obstetrician-Gynecologist, FACOG, DipABLM, FACLM. Secretary of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine Executive Board. Professor in the Health Professions Department at Metropolitan State University of Denver, Colorado (USA)

Healthy eating, movement, sleep, stress management, and social connections support thriving through the menopause transition and far beyond. Lifestyle medicine supports a woman’s cardiometabolic health, physical function, brain health, and thriving trajectories. As clinicians, we can use the menopause transition, as a window of opportunity to help our patients make positive changes in their lifestyle behaviors, and positively impact their health trajectories.
