To register as a student (undergraduate, graduate or PhD student) a proof of enrollment (i.e. a scanned copy of the student ID card) must be uploaded at the end of the registration process to confirm the student status at the time of the conference. Postdocs must register as senior. To guarantee entries in the program and the book of abstracts it is recommended to register untilJun 15, 2022 (early registration).

Note that the registration fee automatically includes the annual EUROMECH membership fee (€30). Non-EUROMECH members who wish to attend the conference become members automatically for one year when they register for the conference. They will be invited to renew their membership subsequently. The membership of EUROMECH members will automatically be extended by one year.

Registration Desk
The Registration Desk will be located at the N. Skalkotas Level (-1) of the Megaron Athens International Conference Centre and will be in operation the following dates and hours:

Certificate of Attendance
An official Certificate of Attendance will besent via email to all registered participants following the completion of theConference evaluation form.

Registration Terms & Conditions

  • All registration fees are quoted in Euro (€) and taxes are included.
  • Invoices with an address in the European Union must be provided with a VAT Number. The invoicing address and VAT number can be set up during the registration process.
  • Registration fees are based on the date of the receipt. The prices indicated are only applicable if BOTH the registration request AND payment are received before midnight, Central European Time (UTC +2), on the relevant registration deadline date, otherwise the registration fee of the next period will be applied.
Payment Details
  • Payment of registration fee can be made either by credit card or bank transfer (see below bank account details).
  • Payment by cash will be only accepted on-site.
  • Registration payments must be completed before the end of the selected registration deadline. If the payment is not submitted by the stated deadline, the fee will be changed to the one that corresponds to the next time period.
  • All payments are to be made in Euro (EUR) without charges for the beneficiary.

Note:  Copy of the bank slip receipt is to be sent to the Conference Secretariat by e-mail (info@efmc14.org), for confirmation of the relevant bank transfer. Please indicate your name as well as the “EFMC14” on your payment details for identification purposes.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation or alteration of your registration must be sent in writing by e-mail to info@efmc14.org, and will be subject to the following conditions:

  • For cancellation requests until June 30, 2022: 50% of the total amount will be refunded.
  • For cancellation requests received from July 1, 2022 onwards: no refund applies.
  • All refunds will be processed within two (2) months after the end of the EFMC14 Conference. Bank charges will be deducted.
