Before The Congress | Creating Your E-Poster
Creating your e-Poster
To create your e-Poster presentation please use one of the samples found HERE as they are compliant with the required specifications of the submission platform.
In case an e-Poster presenter wishes to create the e-Poster from scratch, the below technical guidelines should be followed:
- e-Poster dimensions: 121.9 cm by 63.5 cm (48" by 25") with resolution of 1920 x 1000 pixels
- Number of pages (slides): one (1)
- Orientation: Horizontal
- The text and background should have a large contrast
- For embedded images prefer .jpeg or .png file formats in a resolution of 72 or 96 dpi
- Animated effects, “animations” and videos are not allowed
This way the e-Poster presenter ensures the best viewing experience for the e-Poster.
Whichever way the presenter chooses to prepere the e-Poster presentation, the final e-Poster presentation should be saved in a PDF format and use the PDF file to proceed with the submission.
How will my e-Poster be presented?
1. The e-Poster Gallery
The e-Poster Gallery is where attendees can access all e-Posters that are accepted to the congress. Attendees can view e-Posters as soon as they have
access to the virtual platform, save their favorites for easy viewing, and leave feedback in the discussion forum. These are accessible while the platform is open, and available for a period of 2 months after the Conference.
2. The Live e-Poster Viewing Session
Apart from the e-Poster Gallery alll e-Poster presentations have been assigned to the congress Poster Session. The e-Poster Viewing Session will last 60 minutes and will give you the chance to present live to your audience and share your screen to present a set of slides or your display poster if
you want to.
This session will use a queuing system, where you can bring a maximum of 10 persons at a time as your audience into your presentation for 10 minutes at a time.
We recommend planning your e-Poster presentation to last for approximately 5-10 minutes so that you can present it to several audience groups throughout the total assigned time of the session. Please know that additional instructions about how to navigate your way around this session will be sent to you in due time before the end of the month.
