Overview
The quality and advantages of Prostate MRI have re-defined diagnostic practice in recent years. Recent publications of PROMIS, PRECISION and the Hansen BJUi papers strongly advocate the use of mpMRI for lesion detection and biopsy avoidance in the diagnostic pathway.
This established international workshop has traditionally addressed the approach to learning this new diagnostic tool on workstations in a multidisciplinary fashion involving Radiologists, Urologists and Pathologists. There is also an opportunity to learn about advanced targeted and image-guided biopsy techniques, including MRI-TRUS fusion. We partner with MRIpro to provide a validated online learning tool to consolidate the skill after the course.
Original Cambridge course components have been used successfully for numerous 1-day courses and seminars at the ECR2017 & 2018, the FT2015 & 2018 and the SIU 2017 & 2018 and each year since 2013 in Cambridge as the original 2-day course with unanimous applause.
