
Takahiro Inoue is a urologist and Associate professor at the Graduate School of Medicine at the Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan. He received his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine, Kyoto University in 1994 and Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University in 2007. He spent two years as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Brady Urological Institute, Johns Hopkins Medical Institute, Baltimore, MD, USA from 2006 to 2008. He was an Assistant Professor at Kyoto University and Kansai Medical University, Osaka, Japan. He is currently a physician engaging robotic surgery, hormonal therapy and chemotherapy against prostate cancer. His current research interests include the development of diagnostic and predictive biomarkers of prostate cancer especially focusing lipidomic analysis and evaluating the mechanisms of transition to castration-resistant disease states.
