Wojciech M. Marlicz

Short Curriculum Vitae

Wojciech M. Marlicz is a consultant in gastroenterology and internal medicine at the Department of Gastroenterology, Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin, Poland.
He has gained professional experience working in the Blackburn Royal Infirmary Hospital (UK), University of Pennsylvania (USA), and University of New South Wales (Australia). He has also gained professional experience at Australasian College of Natural Therapies in Sydney, Australia and holds the Diploma of Integrated Bodywork Therapies.
He served as the President of the West Pomeranian Division of the Polish Society of Gastroenterology (2012-2016). Currently Dr Marlicz is involved in diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopy , microbiome-host related research working on several national and international projects investigating the microbiota and probiotics in the field of regenerative medicine in human gastrointestinal diseases. He has also been involved in teaching and educational activities highlighting the importance of healthy lifestyle and nutrition to promote wellbeing and longevity. Dr Marlicz is a Fellow of American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), member of European Society of Neurogastroenterology & Motility
 (ESNM), Polish Society of Gastroenterology PTG-E , European Lifestyle Medicine Organization (ELMO - Country Representative for Poland) and Polish Coeliac Society (Honorary Member).
