Welcome Message

Dear colleagues and friends,

It is a great honor and a privilege to invite you to Naples-Italy on January 22-24, 2018 for the next edition of the IFNE-JSNE-GLEN-ISNE Hands-on Workshop on Cerebral and Ventricular Neuroendoscopy. As is customary, the Workshop will be hosted at the Centro di Biotecnologie - A.O.R.N. “Antonio Cardarelli”.

The Scientific Program comprises a series of presentations by renowned experts on applied technologies and techniques related with ETV and septostomy, complex hydrocephalus, arachnoid cysts, tumor management, and craniopharyngiomas. Theory is then put into use through a series of hands-on workshops performed on anatomical and animal models, where a 2:1 analogy of trainees and expert tutors of our international Faculty ensures enhanced interaction and high level of actual knowledge gained.

Participation to the hands-on is limited to 48 delegates. However, in response to high demand for attendance over the past years, we have decided to open up 30 places for auditors, who will be able to attend all sessions (both theoretical and practical) from the plenary hall. We invite you all to register and share this exceptional experience with us.

The Hands-on Workshop on Cerebral and Ventricular Neuroendoscopy is organized by the International Federation of Neuroendoscopy (IFNE), and is under the auspices of the Japanese Society for Neuroendoscopy (JSNE), the Latin American Group on Neuroendoscopy Studies (GLEN), the Indian Society for Neuroendoscopy (ISNE), the Neuroendoscopy Committee of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS), as well as the European Society for Pediatric Neurosurgery (ESPN). In recognition of the important role of the aforementioned societies, their members are given priority to register and are eligible for reduced fees.

We look forward to welcoming you in Naples!
