Joining forces, looking ahead.
In the beginning of the New Year, Erasmus joined forces with Greek PCOs AFEA and ERA for a fruitful cooperation on the successful hosting and organizing of IAPCO Edge Athens, scheduled to take place in Athens between 17-19 January 2017. This gesture evidences that working collectively is the key to best promote Greece as a top congress destination. The countdown has already begun for an exemplary event, which aims at educating but also at transmitting the city vibes of a historic, multicultural modern and yet traditionally hospitable Athens.
“New Year – New goals”
In a festive and happy mood our team celebrated the coming of the New Year, during Erasmus’s annual corporate event that was held at Divani Caravel Hotel on 17/2/2016. Best wishes for a happy and creative new year, were followed by last year’s review and the setting of the company’s new goals by Erasmus CEO, Georgia Tsatsou. Highlighting the power of group work, Ms. Tsatsou thanked all employees for their hard work and assured everyone that despite the difficult situation in the country, out dedication, professionalism and the Erasmus client oriented approach will lead our company to continued success.

At the edge of the latest developments of the International Urological Community.
For yet another year, Erasmus actively participated in the European Association of Urology (EAU) Annual Meeting in Munich, 11-15 March 2016. Our company, which already counts many years of expertise in organizing high-end urological events, presented and showcased its forthcoming urology projects to a targeted group of more than 13.000 participants from 120 countries. This was also a great opportunity to meet again with dear friends and partners and to create new promising relationships.

Proven commitment to high quality.
Since 2009 Erasmus is certified with EN ISO 9001: 2008 by TÜV CERT, member of TÜV NORD CERT GmbH and follows all required international procedures that ensure high quality services for Congress and Exhibitions Organizing as well as Incentive Travel. During the annual ISO inspection this year, we were proud to extend our scope of certified activities in Association Management.

Enduring business relationships.
Three words can best describe what we feel when our valued customers repeatedly trust their events in our hands: satisfaction and pride
With such great excitement our team travelled in Chile and in the seaside city Viña del Mar, between 6-9 of April, to organize the LAEMOS Congress (Latin American and European Organization Studies), appointed and trusted to us by the European Group of Organizational Studies (EGOS) for a second consecutive year.
In addition, it is with great pride that we continue our cooperation with the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI), which already counts 4 years of successful partnership for the PAAM and FAAM meetings. After a bidding procedure completed in April 2016, Erasmus has been appointed as the Professional Congress Organizer for the Pediatric Allergy and Asthma Meeting (PAAM) and the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Meeting (FAAM) for the years 2017 & 2018. Moreover, preparations are in full swing for the FAAM 2016 Meeting, to be held in October in Rome.
May - June
Heating up... with 15 back to back events, 8 of which international and 7 national, spanning over Greece, Europe and Latin America our team worked hard and diligently to successfully respond to the increased demands of this busy period.
EADV Spring Symposium convenes in Athens.
Led under the chairmanship of Prof. Christina Antoniou, the 13th EADV Spring Symposium held at the MEGARON Athens International Conference Centre, 19-22 May 2016 attracted a record number of more than 2.400 dermatologists from around the world. Participants enjoyed a high quality scientific programme and at the same time had the opportunity to discover some of the hidden treasures of Greek culture, among which, the magical melodies of Greek composer, Evanthia Reboutsika. Acting as the local PCO for the Symposium, Erasmus enjoyed once more the trust of EADV and returned excellent services to the Organizers, making the team proud of itself.
Scent of distinction.
Congratulations to ALBA Graduate Business School at the American College of Greece on winning the Silver Award in “Best Conference” category during the 1st Events Awards Ceremony of, held on June 2nd in Athens. This important distinction was awarded to ALBA for the organization of the EGOS 2015 Colloquium. Erasmus is proud for having taken its share in this success by acting as the EGOS 2015 Colloquium PCO.
Erasmus, a trusted corporate events partner.
During a “marathon” inspection site visit in late May 2016, our team had the pleasure to uncover hidden spots and valuable tips to the representatives of a leading multinational pharmaceutical company for its Annual Sales Conference which will take place in Athens, in September 2016. Erasmus’ professionalism and creative philosophy coupled with its strong network of leading local venues and suppliers made us the right choice for this highly demanding corporate event. Our team is getting ready to welcome more than 500 participants and ensure that their Athens experience is safe, comfortable and memorable.
Networking in beautiful Hamburg.
As an IAPCO member, providing core PCO services, Erasmus was one of the 7 IAPCO members which were invited to participate at the Advisory Board of the Hamburg Convention Bureau (HCB). Along with 18 HCB’s strategic partners we met for intensive workshop sessions on win-win relationships and successful partnerships, discussing room allotments, infrastructure, cross-city co-operation as well as city safety, creating legacy and connecting congresses with destinations. The after-workshop-hours programme featured among others an exciting journey to the world of aircraft manufacturing at the Airbus Plant and a majestic harbour tour and boat trip to the Elbphilharmonie, Hamburg’s fabulous new landmark.

Exciting new appointments.

IVINS Orthopaedic Oncology Society Meeting.

Targeted to distinguished Orthopaedic MDs and Professors, mainly from the USA, the annual IVINS Society Congress will be hosted for the first time in its history in Greece, in September 2017. The selected venue, the Costa Navarino complex in the magnificent countryside of Pylos - site of the famous Navarino Battle of 1827 – will ensure the best context for concentration and demanding scientific discussions!
11th World Congress on Controversies in Neurology (CONy).

Following our past successful collaboration in 2008, the Organizers of CONy selected Erasmus once again to act as the local PCO for the Congress which will be held in Athens, on 23-26 March 2017. The most important task that Erasmus is called to accomplish is the local promotion to the Greek Neurology community. Our “personal” goal is one and demanding: to exceed ourselves and, despite the crisis, to outnumber the 1.057 participants of Athens CONy 2008 (which was by the way the second highest record of attendees in the history of the organization).
