Acupuncture today, a scrutiny in personal daily practice.

Our intention is to base next year’s congress on our clinical experience, aiming at gathering data regarding the actual application of acupuncture all over the world.

Collect data from your everyday clinical practice: in which cases acupuncture is actually applied, how often, the combinations used, what are the interactions with other diseases and or treatments, and finally if there is any follow up.

A second, parallel part of the congress will be dedicated of the latest news regarding acupuncture research and its relation with evidence-based medicine. All these data shall be combined and discussed in round tables, in order to establish the new face of acupuncture practice in 2012.

are inviting you to the next  XV World ICMART Medical  Acupuncture Congress in Athens.

This annual platform of exchange has developed into an important meeting place to obtain current and useful information in science, practice and health policy and is becoming and recognized as the most influential event in Medical Acupuncture worldwide.

Athens will give the congress its great atmosphere from being the cultural root place of Europe and European medicine which not only has been the base of European and western thinking, science and culture but also had already included many aspects we now are looking for in Eastern Medicine. Greece has built the bridge in both ways.

Medical Acupuncture is an integrative approach between western and eastern medicine and medical technique. It is also a process on which all of us have been actively working on, documented by the history of ICMART since 1983. Starting with a group of pioneers this umbrella organization has now grown to about 90 medical acupuncture associations worldwide and has become the number one in Medical Acupuncture.
We invite you to come to Athens and to share this innovative process in medicine and medical technique.
