Dear Colleagues,

Hysterectomy is the second most common operation amongst women. The benefits of a laparoscopic procedure are well known. We are fortunate to be able to host a number of surgeons from centres of excellence in Greece and abroad to share their vast knowledge and unravel some of the secrets and tricks of performing this procedure with minimal risks.

Young gynaecologists at the early stages of their career, who are determined to meet the surgical challenges of the 21st century, as well as experienced gynaecological surgeons, who welcome opportunities to learn the latest tips from surgeons operating in the forefront of laparoscopic surgery, will both benefit from this event.

We are grateful to D.T.C.A Hygeia and Mitera Hospitals in Athens for offering to host this meeting, where presentations will make extensive use of video material and where live surgeries will be broadcasted on both days with extensive input from invited speakers.
