Important notice for the submission of your e-POSTER to the
9th International Scientific Meeting of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists

Wishing to use modern, environmentally friendly technologies, the Organizing Committee has decided that in this year’s conference all posters will be presented electronically, as e-posters. Therefore, there will not be a need for printing, carrying and hanging posters in the conference area. Specifically, the creation, submission, management and presentation of e-posters in the conference area and on the Internet, will be carried out using the innovative ePostersLive platform.

Best Poster Presentations and Prizes
A Poster Judging Panel has been appointed and up to 60 Posters will be selected for three Poster Viewing Sessions which will take place during the meeting in the Exhibit Hall. Authors of the selected posters will be invited to present their work for final reviewing as follows:

• Wednesday, September 28, 13.00-14.00
• Thursday, September 29, 13.00-14.00
• Friday, September 30, 13.00-14.00

15 Prize Certificates (3 from each stream) will be presented to authors of those Posters judged to be the best, based on scientific content, originality and final design. The winners will be announced during the Closing Ceremony. The authors of the selected posters will be notified by September 5th for the date and time of their Poster Viewing Session, where at least one of the authors should be present at the designated session.

Setting the dimensions of your poster

1. Launch PosterGenius.
2. From the first screen click “New poster from wizard”.
3. In the first step of the Wizard, search for the Conference in the list or set the dimensions of your poster manually to: 140 cm (55 in) width x 79 cm (31 in) height, in landscape orientation. You may then follow the steps of the wizard in order to define the basic settings of your poster.
4. Your poster should be one page only.

Creation of your e-poster with PowerPoint
Although it is advisable to create your e-poster with PosterGenius™, in case you would rather use another software, please find the corresponding instructions below. These instructions are written for PowerPoint, but are applicable to any other software you may wish to use. 
Use PowerPoint 2003 or newer, and set the dimensions of your poster to: 140 cm (55 in) width x 79 (31 in) cm height, in landscape orientation.

• Number of pages (slides): one (1).
• Make sure your text and background have a large contrast.
• Suggested fonts: Arial, Times New Roman, Tahoma, Verdana.
• Minimum suggested font size: 24 (20 for references).
• For embedded images prefer .jpeg or .png file formats in a resolution of 72 or 96 dpi. Avoid .tiff and .bmp images as they are very large in filesize.
• Do not use animated effects, “animations” and videos. If you wish to do a video presentation in the conference, please contact us for special instructions on how to submit it.
