City Tour Amsterdam (Half day - 09.00-13.00 hours)

09.00 A professional English speaking guide will welcome the group at your hotel. Through this expansive tour you will get to know Amsterdam very well. You will see by luxurious Beuk Touringcar, the old and new parts of this beautiful city, many historical buildings and interesting sights. For example you will get see the Royal Palace, the National Monument, the Skinny Bridge, the Albert Cuyp market and the beautiful houses along the canals. We will also visit a windmill on the river Amstel and a stop will be made at a diamond factory where you will see the traditional way of polishing.

12.00 A private canal cruise is a must when you are in Amsterdam; Amsterdam's innercity is famous for its crescent-shaped belt of concentric canals, the Herengracht, the Keizersgracht and the Prinsengracht. It was designed in 1609 and s considered a classical example of town-planning. Probably the nicest way to see to city is from the water. While gliding through the old centre you see merchant's mansions, carrilion-crowned churches and warehouses dating back to the 16th and 17th century. One will notice the gable stones which decorate the facades. They were designed to serve as both identification and address in the days before houses were numbered. The Amsterdam old city centre has been largely unchanged for 300 years - a real architectural gem.

Zaanse Schans (Half day - 09.00-13.00 hours)

09.00 A Professional English speaking guide will welcome your group at your hotel. A Royal Beuk Touringcar will bring you towards the Zaanse Schans. The Zaanse Schans is a large area with all kinds of special attractions. It is a unique live-work area with various museums, mills, crafts, restaurants, a visit is a real opportunity. It gives an excellent impression of how the Zaan in the 17th and 18th century has seen. The Zaanse Schans is one of the most touristik locations in the Netherlands. The Zaanse Schans is open all year and offers a variety of young and old experiences. It is very nice to visit a clog maker, a tinmaker, a cheese farm or visit a shipyard. There are also nice museums like the Zaans museum or The Noorder House, where you get an impression of the Life of a Zaanse merchant in the 19th century. There is also a Bakery, a Mill Clock Museum and a mill museum. And how about a visit to the museum of the first shop of Albert Heyn? The site of the Zaanse Schans is open all year; access to the area is free. Some museums and mills ask for an entrance fee. The companies have several hours in the high and low season.

Volendam (Half day - 09.00-13.00 hours)

09.00 Visit Volendam Legend has it that the Volendam coat of arms is a compliment to the beauty of the Volendam girl! No wonder that a famous singer sang the praise of this characteristic Dutch fishing village in the words: "Anyone who wants to see the real beauty of Holland goes to Volendam". As a result of its completely insulated location, this village preserved its character for six centuries, also because of the tough vitality of the fishermen. The characteristic small houses, which together with the canals and the drawbridges form the most picturesque spots, present the visitor an atmosphere of geniality and romance. Don’t forget to visit the Volendam museum with the ’Sigarenbandjeshuis’, where cigar rings are on display.
