Dear Colleagues,
It is our great pleasure to invite you to Athens for the XVIIIth World Congress on Psychiatric Genetics.
It is a very exciting time for psychiatry, as powerful molecular genetic technologies have started to yield important insights into the causes and triggers of mental disorders. Come learn of the latest methods and findings as they influence understanding of the biological underpinnings and phenotypic expression of psychiatric illness. We are particularly happy to welcome clinicians with an interest in the latest advances as well as biological, psychological, clinical and statistical researchers. We invite you to present your work at the leading meeting in this field and are particularly keen to encourage attendance by young investigators, for whom there will be an additional special programme. As well as the exciting science, Athens is a wonderful city, steeped in culture and history and an ideal springboard for exploring the delights of Greece.
Please join us for the premier meeting in this field, which will be educational, intellectually stimulating, and entirely enjoyable.
A warm Athenian welcome awaits you! With best wishes.
