Instructions for Poster Presentation

Poster Session I:
|
The posters should be mounted in the assigned board on Monday, October 4, 2010, from 9:00 to 11:00 hrs and dismounted on the same day, from 19:00 to 21:00 hrs. After this hour the Workshop Secretariat has no responsibility for the poster. The Organizing Bureau has no responsibility for posters not removed within the aforementioned time-frame.
The poster viewing time is scheduled from 15:30 to 17:00.
Poster Presenters are expected to be present at the poster area during that time.

Poster Session II:
|
The posters should be mounted in the assigned board on Tuesday, October 5, 2010, from 9:00 to 11:00 hrs and dismounted on the same day, from 19:00 to 21:00 hrs. After this hour the Workshop Secretariat has no responsibility for the poster. The Organizing Bureau has no responsibility for posters not removed within the aforementioned time-frame.
The poster viewing time is scheduled from 15:30 to 17:00.
Poster Presenters are expected to be present at the poster area during that time.

Tape to mount your poster will be provided by the Congress Secretariat. The Congress Secretariat will be at your disposal to answer your questions and provide help locating your poster board.

Location:

The Poster Area is located in the Ilissos Hall of the Divani Caravel Hotel (Congress Venue).
|

Poster Material:
|
The poster surface dimensions are 120 cm (height) x 80 cm (width). You will find on the bottom of your poster space a label, indicating your Poster Number. Material for mounting posters (double-sided Scotch tape) will be available at the Congress Secretariat.

| Text and Illustration Layout: |
All illustrations must be prepared beforehand. Remember that your illustrations must be legible by interested scientists from a distance of about one meter or more. Charts, drawings and illustrations may be similar to those you would otherwise use in making slides (i.e. preferably simple with well-defined lines). They need not to be «arty». Simple use of color can effectively add emphasis.
Do not use heavy illustration material because it may be difficult to be kept in position on the poster board. Please do not write or draw on the Poster Boards.

Τhis service is reasonably priced for authors, since in addition to the standard printing cost of the poster(s), relieves the authors in terms of transportation of their material (tubes) abroad.
