Speakers Information

  • Speakers preview Room
    A Preview Room (Level 1: Slide Preview Room-Technical Secretariat) will be available during the entire conference with computer technicians in attendance to make any amendments and allow you to check your presentations already submitted.

    Preview Room will be open the following days and times:
    • Sunday 22nd August          12:00-19:00
    • Monday 23rd August           08:00-18:00
    • Tuesday 24th August          08:00-18:00
    • Wednesday 25th August     08:00-18:00
    • Thursday 26th August         08:00-18:00

LCD projector
Each Conference room is equipped with an LCD projector and a connected computer. The presentation software is Microsoft PowerPoint. A special preview room will be provided for speakers and delegates to review their presentations. Information at registration desk.

Presenters are kindly requested to address themselves to the Technical Secretariat, upon check- in at the Registration Desk, in order to check their PPP. Test and changes on your PPP, will be possible until one hour before your Oral Presenation.There are limited possibilities to run laptops brought by delegates. It is strongly recommended that you use the equipment available.

Poster Presentations & Poster Sessions

Poster presentations have been split into two parts this year. (See below Poster identification numbers and dates of Presentation). If you have a poster to present, you are kindly asked to report to the Registration Desk, to get instructions and materials for putting your poster.

The Poster Area will be located at the Level 0 (Olympus foyer) of the Conference Center. On the top of your poster board there will be a label, indicating your Poster Number as mentioned in the abstract book. Material for mounting posters (double sided Scotch tape) will be available at the Registration Desk Secretariat.

The poster panels surface area is 2,00m high and 1,00m width, means that the size of the poster should be portrait DIN A0 and not exceed a width of 85cm and a height of 120cm. Make sure to make your poster in portrait and not in landscape orientation.

Authors of posters are expected to stand by their posters during the respective session time for discussion with delegates:

Sessions 1 - 21: Monday, August 23rd and Tuesday, August 24th
Poster discussion: Tuesday from 18.00 - 20.00
 

Posters should be mounted on the assigned board on Monday, August 23rd , 2010 between 08:30 - 10:00.

Posters must be removed im mediately after the end of the Session, Tuesday, A ugust 24th, at 20:00.

   
Sessions 22 - 46: Wednesday, August 25th and Thursday, August 26th
Poster discussion: Wednesday from 18.00 - 20.00
  Posters should be mounted on the assigned board on Wednesday, August 25th , 2010 between 08:30 - 10:00. Poster material must be removed immediately after the end of the Session, Thursday, August 26th, at 18.00.

Posters that will not be removed on time by their authors will be removed by the Meeting Secretariat and kept in the Registration Desk till the end of the Congress. The Meeting Organizers have no responsibility for possible loss or damage of Posters, which will not be removed by the authors according the above time schedule.
