Coastal Routes
Piraeus is linked daily to Heraklion and sailings take about 8 hours on standard ferries. These overnight ferries arrive at their destination between 5.30 and 6.30 in the morning.
 
Transportation from Heraklion Airport to the Hotel and Vice Versa
“Kazantzakis” International Airport of Crete, is situated 24 km west of Creta Maris Hotel, close to the fishing village of Hersonissos. The time from the Airport to the Hotel is estimated approximately to 20 minutes. Upon your arrival our representatives will be waiting for you, holding a distinctive sign of the Conference. Our representatives will lead you to our de lux, fully air conditioned coaches to take you to the Creta Maris Hotel.
 
Transfers
Conference shuttle bus: Heraklion Airport to Conference Hotels
On August 22nd and 23rd, 2010 there will be a shuttle bus service from Heraklion Airport to the conference hotels according to the following timetable: 11:00 | 13:30 | 17:30 | 20:30 | 22:30 | 00:00
The shuttle bus transportation costs 10 Euros per person per way. 
Return transfers can be arranged onsite, directly at the Congress Secretariat.
