ATHENS CITY TOUR & VISIT OF THE NEW ACROPOLIS MUSEUM

A guided coach tour of Ancient Athens, passing by the Zappeion Garden, Hadrian’s Arch, Temple of Olympian Zeus, Anglican Church, St. Nikodimos Byzantine Church, National Garden, Tomb of the unknown Soldier, House of Parliament, Schliemann’s House, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the ex Royal Palace (guarded the colorful Evzone), Panathinaiko Stadium, Theatre of Dionysus. Reach the Acropolis (visit the Propylaea Temple of Wingless Victory, Parthenon Erechteon and the Museum of Acropolis) and the Hill of Philopapos with the breathtaking view of the entire City.

Drive along the new coastal road, past the wonderful beaches of Glyfada, Varkiza, Lagonisi, to Cape Sounion, famous for its sunset and dominated by the spectacular Temple of Poseidon, which overlooks the Aegean Sea (Tour Code: HD2).

DELPHI

Leave Athens for Delphi via the national highway passing near Levadia and Arachova. Visit the Archaeological Museum with its spectacular finds including the world famous Charioteer, the Naxian Sphinx and Statue of Antinoos and marvel at the Ancient Sanctuary of Apollo (Tour Code: FD1).

CRUISE TO SARONIC GULF ISLANDS (AEGINA, POROS, HYDRA)

The regular one day cruise in the Saronic Gulf which is operated by Olympic Short Cruises gives the participants the opportunity to have a taste of the Greek islands by visiting the picturesque islands of Aegina, Poros and Hydra. Participants depart the hotel by bus early in the morning for a short transfer to Trocadero harbour. The ship leaves the port at 8.30 am and returns at approx. 7.00 pm. The cruise calls at the islands of Aegina, Poros and Hydra.
During the cruise, a buffet lunch is served on board the cruise ship (Tour Code: FDC).
